What Am I Too You
What am I to you
Tell me darling true
To me you are the sea
Vast as you can be
And deep the shade of blue
When your feeling low
To whom else do you go
See I'd cry if you hurt
I'd give you my last shirt
because I love you so
If my sky should fall
Would you even call?
I've opened up my heart
I never want to part
I'm giving you the ball
When I look in your eyes
I can feel the butterflies
I'll love you when your blue
But tell me darling true
What am I to you
Now if my sky should fall
Would you even call
I've opened up my heart
I never want to part
I'm giving you the ball
When I look in your eyes
I can feel the butterflies
But could you find the love in me
Would you carve me in a tree
Don't fill my heart with lies
I will love you when your blue
But tell me darling true
What am I to you
Here come old flattop he come grooving up slowly

Hold you in his armchair you can feel his disease

BASS GUITARS
Bass guitars are stringed instruments that give a deep tone and serves as a crucial link between the other instruments. It is commonly used at modern jazz, funk, country and disco music scenes. The vibrations of the string cause an electrical signal called pickups and they are amplified through a speaker. They can be even used to alter the sound of the instrument. The bass guitars provide an engaging background music that can capture the attention of several listners.
Leo Fender a famous guitar manufacturer invented the bass guitars in the year 1950. He added many fret that made the instrument easier to play.
Bass guitars have four or five strings but are generally a four stringed instruments. The standard tuning is E-A-D-G .The neck of the bass guitars is divided slightly by metal bars and is marked stating the location of different notes.
Bass guitars are very smooth, have a unique tone, and can be played in a number of styles. Many great musicians like Pino Palladino, Paul Mc Cartney,Rudy Gentry ,les Claypool enjoy playing in bass guitars as it gives a melodic approach. Fender, Ibanaz and Gibson are the popular makers of bass guitars. Pedulla, Alembic, Wal, Ricken Backer and Sadowski are famous companies producing handcrafted and custom made bass guitars.
The acoustic bass guitars are larger compared to the ordinary bass guitars. The hollow interior of this bass guitar acts to amplify the strings vibration. These bass guitars retain pickups and are very melodious.
Wood is mainly used for making the bass guitars. The main parts of bass guitars are body, neck, fingerboard, frets, and strings. Wood is used for making the body and the neck. The neck is bolted to the body. A fingerboard is then glued to the neck. This is also in wood. Frets are thin metal strips that are glued on to the fingerboard. Frets can be taken out of bass guitars and the sound changes because of this and these types of guitars are called fretless bass guitars.
Four metal strings are found in bass guitars. Some bass guitars have five or six strings that can play at a lower range of tones than a bass guitar with four strings.
The electric bass guitar has to be connected with a metal cable to an electronic amplifier and to a loud speaker in order to hear the sounds. Many Different Styles Of Bass Guitar Playing Are CommonYou Have Jazz, Typically Played On A Electric Fender Bass, Then You Have Rock n Roll Played Also On Electric Bass.
There are magnetic pick-ups underneath the strings of bass guitar. The strings vibrate when the musician plucks the strings with his fingers. These vibrations are converted into an electronic signal and then to loudspeaker. There is a volume control knob on the bass guitar with which a musician can adjust the intensity of sound. Rock music or rock and roll uses the bass guitars to play the low-pitched bass lines.

An electric guitar is a type of music instrument that uses vibration from its steel-cored strings, which will convert into electric current. This signal need to be amplified to give various tonal affects which then further convert into final sound which can be acoustic or electric sound.
These devices are commonly used by guitarists to add distortions and equalizations to the music as well to shift the phases of the sound frequencies. In some cases, this is use by amplifiers to change the sound.
In recent times, the guitar is a one of the most popular types of musical instruments that is used by almost all musicians. Despite traditional music, guitar is popular and it is used among all the type of music like rock and roll, country, music, jazz, and blues and ambient. The Ambience is a new age type of music. The importance of guitar is known by the fact that it is used in contemporary classical music. This music instrument is a part of most popular songs in twenty century.
Some specialized steel guitars are used for different purpose and they are considered as different instruments.
Electric guitar
The electric guitar is originally designed by some electronic professionals, manufacturers, so electronics guitar contain feature of both mechanics, electronics. The electric guitar is made up of solid bodies, and they depend up on electromagnetic pick-ups and amplifiers to give sounds. These amplifiers are not dependent upon any resonance or hollow body to enhance sound.
There are several examples of electric guitars are available today for example fender Stratocaster which has three pick ups and it has treble pick-up near bridge and bass pick-ups at the center and near neck.
Solid body electric guitar
The solid body electric guitar has steel strings with three magnetic pickups, the back, middle and front pick-ups. The back pick-ups are located near to the bridge, it has offset angle of ten degree towards the fingerboard that is underneath the lower strings, and this will give more functionality to the user. The treble pole, which is at an angle to the bridge, will allow strings to emit harmonic sound. This Stratocaster has a switch that works with pick-ups with individual combinations. This guitar is known for its high-pitched streams and sharp body and it has single coil pickups.
Guitar Pickups and Harmonic Content
There are three pick-ups for electric guitars for example fender Stratocaster, which allows the player to adjust the quality of sound by picking the signal, used during each pick-up. There are some volume controls options are available known as knobs.Inside

Alot Of Times People Ask Me About The Difference Between Active
Pickups And Passive Pickups, On Bass Guitars. Well To Tell You The Truth I Did not know much more than, Active pickups have or use a preamp to boost and or weaken the tone quality of the sound of your instrument. However after doing some minimal research, I learned alot more in the little time, I Had available. here`s some good info.
Active and passive pickups
Pickups can be either active or passive. Pickups, apart from optical types, are inherently passive transducers. So-called active pickups incorporate electronic circuitry to modify the signal. Passive pickups are usually wire wound around a magnet. They can generate electric potential without need for external power, though their output is relatively low, and the harmonic content of output depends greatly on the winding.
Passive pickups are very convenient as they require no power source to operate. They are the most popular and widely used pickup type on electric guitars, and their frequency response curve is unique to the type and manufacturer.
Different Brands Produce Different Sounds
EMG 81 & EMG 85 — pair of popular active pickupsActive pickups require an electrical source of energy (usualy one or two 9V batteries) to operate and include an electronic preamp, active filters, active EQ and other sound-shaping features. They can sometimes give much higher possible output. They also are less affected in tone by varying lengths of amplifier lead, and amplifier input characteristics. Magnetic pickups used with 'active' circuitry usually feature a lower inductance (and initially lower output) winding that tends to give a flatter frequency response curve.
Maybe You Might Want To Stay Passive
The disadvantages of active pickups are the power source (usually either a battery or phantom power), cost, and less defined unique tonal signature. They are more popular on bass guitars, because of their solid tone; most high-end bass guitars feature an active pickup. Most piezoelectric and all optical pickups are active and include some sort of preamp. Or Even A Graphic Equalizer Built Right In.
The main advantages of active pickups are that they can be louder than a similar grade passive pickup. They also allow more "headroom" and dynamic range. Active pickups produce less noise and hum compared to their passive counterparts - an advantage in itself, but also eliminating the need for a string ground (a wire connecting the strings on most electric guitars to ground somewhere in the circuit,
Usaully This Ground Wire is never seen hidden under the bridge.
Essentially using the player's body as an electronic shield)- a potential shock hazard.
Types of Bass Guitar Pickups
Pickups can be split into two categories: passive pickups and active pickups. The difference between passive pickups and active pickups is active ones are battery-powered while passive pickups are not. Each type has its own sound and advantages/disadvantages. And Every Guitar Will Not Sound The Same Even
With Identical Pickup Setups.
Passive Pickups
The first pickups to be used in bass guitars were passive. When you listen to classic recordings such as Motown hits with James Jamerson, The Beatles, and Cream, you are hearing passive pickups. Passive pickups tend to have a warm, full, round, dynamic tone. Their fat, punchy tone is their appeal. And The Sounds Are More
Easily Duplicated.And More Reliable.
Passive pickups do not give you much control over their tone. Basses have bass and treble controls much like your stereo system. On passive pickups you can only turn down (cut) these bass and treble frequencies. That means you can only take away treble or bass from the tone of the pickups. That’s not necessarily bad. You just have fewer options for shaping the tone of passive pickups.
Passive pickups use larger magnets and can pick up more noise and interference than active pickups.
Pickups are important to the sound of a bass, ranked right up there with strings as a way of defining your sound. They probably have more effect on your final sound than whatever combinations of woods are chosen for that perfect tone. To complicate the issue, a pickup can give quite different results on different basses. Changing strings will affect a pickup's response as well. A number of active and passive pickups are available for bass. When choosing a bass with active pickups, remember that battery life and replacement will become an issue. You Better Get Used To Carrying At Least One Or Two 9 volt battery`s in your guitar case at all times.
Active Pickups
Active pickups use a pre-amplifier, or pre-amp. The pre-amp is powered by a 9-volt battery (or sometimes 2 – an 18-volt system). The pre-amp allows you to both cut and boost frequencies. This gives you more control over the tone coming out of your bass. How much control you have will depend on the features of the pre-amp. Some pre-amps simply have a bass and treble control while others have mid-range controls and other extras.
If the battery dies, many active pickup systems will stop working. You will need to remember to carry spares and put in fresh batteries before those important gigs. Depending on the bass and how much you play, batteries may last from 2 weeks to a year. Hard To Tell All Systems Are Different And so are styles Of Play . Always remember to unplug active basses when not in use to avoid draining the battery.
Active pickups have a hotter (louder) output than passive pickups. There is less signal loss on the way to the bass amp.
Active pickups tend to be bright, clear and snappy sounding.
Active pickups use smaller magnets and pickup less external noise and interference. But, some pre-amps can be noisy especially when you boost the treble. You may hear a lot of hiss.
It’s hard to generalize the sonic differences between active and passive pickups. A good active pickup may sound warmer than a poor passive pickup. You will need to hear and experience the difference and try many basses and pickup systems.
Its Really a personal individual Preference For what you are looking for in a sound.
If you are buying your first bass, you will probably be fine choosing either passive or active pickups. On cheaper basses, the quality of the electronics is usually not that great anyway. But, you can easily replace them if you like the rest of the bass.
Its easy And not really super expensive to change pickups active or to or from passive pickups, Campared to changing Basses.
Another Message From Stewart Mc
Improving your tone, the quick and easy way.
“I like the looks of my guitar and I’ve got it set up the way I like it, but it doesn’t sound as good as I want it to!” That’s a pretty familiar request from customers, and here’s what I tell 'em:
Erick Coleman, May 14, 2009
I received a call on the tech line from Adam Fox, who used to work in Dan Erlewine’s repair shop. Adam's out in Los Angeles now, writing music and working on a new project with a producer friend. He said they were recording the very next night, so Adam was going over his bandmates’ guitars to get them up to speed for the studio.
The other guitarist in his band has a well-made imported Strat-style guitar. He digs the way it plays but isn’t too crazy about how it sounds. Curious about its innards, Adam popped the hood to see what was going on under there. He quickly realized why the guitar sounded so bad: it was loaded with cheapo electronics.
Plastic switches, the cheapest pots and single-coil pickups with flat steel pole slugs: these pickups are a far cry from the originals that inspired them, in both their construction and their sound. If you've heard one of these guitars, you know what I'm talking about: very harsh and thin sounding.
Adam had seen our Golden Age prewired pickguards online, and asked if they’d be a good option for this guitar. The answer to that question was a definite yes. These prewired guards are loaded with Golden Age single coil pickups, which are wound to vintage specs with 42-AWG coil wire and staggered Alnico V polepieces for an authentic tone. The components are the same great stuff that comes in these wiring kits.
Golden Age Prewired Pickguards
Simply pull the old electronicsA snip from some wire nippers, and out come the old electronics.
No soldering required!Yep, that’s a screwdriver, not a soldering iron. The blue no-solder connector makes this a fast swap.
What next?
That’s all there is to it! You’re all wired up! Just put the pickguard assembly in the guitar and string it up. It took longer to restring this guitar than it did to change the pickguard!
Adam’s back at the recording console less than 24 hours after calling me. They began laying tracks with this guitar immediately. (Overnight shipping From Stewart Mcdonalds)

About Dean Guitars - A Quick History Lesson...Dean Guitars was born in 1976, in the attic of the Chicago suburban childhood home of company founder Dean B. Zelinsky. The eighteen-year-old Zelinsky was convinced that guitar design and manufacturing had hit a wall. Rock music was huge and guitar makers were failing to keep up with the times. The world was ready for a guitar that looked, played, and sounded superior to what was available from manufacturers at that time. Zelinsky had a better idea. What followed was a line of electric guitars that for the first time allowed players to play to their potential. With its highly visible V-shaped headstock and trademark wing logo, Dean became in effect, the first boutique guitar line in the history of rock music. These guitars had to be played to be believed, and played they were! Dean guitars started showing up on rock stages worldwide, album covers, and especially on the newly emerging channel called MTV. Dean Guitars were featured in the award-winning MTV Video of the Year three of the first four years running. By the time Dean created the famous Spinning Fur Guitars, Dean’s early place in Rock history was firmly cemented.Over a quarter century later, you can still buy that same USA made boutique Dean Guitar. Today, Dean Guitars has taken that same concept of creating a superior instrument to a whole new level. Dean now offers a full line of fretted instruments including electric and acoustic guitars, basses, jazz guitars, resonators, banjos and mandolins. More importantly, Dean is dedicated to delivering these fine quality instruments at a value that is second to none.No longer do you need to be a platinum selling artist to play Dean and play in high style.
The price of a dean would dictate a low quality instrument but this is simply not true, With A Dean Guitar You Get Nothing But High Quality And Great Craftmanship
Which equals Wonderfull Dean Sound, Playing A Dean Is A Winner....-(*!*)-

I'm just another lonely exile
Gazing homeward from afar
Late one night I fell to earth
I rode shotgun on a falling star
I hit the ground hard,
It was a long and lonely ride
I woke feeling helpless,
feeling gravity tied
And stranded earthbond
Forever earthbound, my friend
Now I turn upon this terra firma
And search the sky each night
I got myself an old telescope
So I can keep you in my sight
The locals call me crazy
When I tell them about us
They shake their heads
And call me Icarus
But they can't comprehend
Just how far I've been
I just seem like one of them
Someone who has always been
Standed earthbound
Forever earthbound, my friend
I'm stranded earthbound my friend
And feeling far too heavy to pretend
Or ignore those cynics
With their science who say
That you're at least
100 billion Light years away
and the image of you that
Seems to shine so bright
Maybe just a phantom,
a trick of traveling light
This I'll never know my friend
I'll be long gone by then
These facts of matter seem
Far less important when
You're stranded earthbound
Forever earthbound, my friendGo Hear It Here
The Rickenbacker Vintage Tone Selector is an additional control included standard at no additional cost on all 4003 basses beginning in the 2006 model year.Prior to 1984, Rickenbacker basses utilized a capacitor in the treble pickup circuit to emphasize treble tones coming from that pickup. However, changes in tone preference and a call for higher output led RIC to discontinue the use of this capacitor in favor of a more balanced sound. Nevertheless many users added this capacitor back into the circuit, experimenting with and sometimes preferring the sound of the older configuration, despite the resulting drop in volume.Rickenbacker has now decided to give their players a choice, allowing the best of both worlds. With a simple pull of the treble tone control, the Vintage Tone Selector will allow a player to move between both sounds at the drop of a hat. Pressed in, you'll hear the familiar balanced tone of the 4003, while pulled out to engage the circuit, you'll appreciate the bite and crispness popularized by such artists as Chris Squire.
Handmade in America - three words that proudly embody Rickenbacker's unchanging commitment to quality and excellence. A commitment that is as strong today as it was in the Company's beginnings, over sixty five years ago.Indeed, little has changed in the production of Rickenbacker guitars and basses. The time-honored skills of craftsmanship and handwork are as prevalent in the Rickenbacker factory as the lack of modern conveyer-belt assembly lines. While utilizing some of the most modern tools and equipment available, Rickenbacker has been selective in employing technology to be sure that improved quality is the only reason for not performing the operation in a traditional fashion. In fact, to the greatest extent, the most skillful and demanding work is still done entirely by hand.Despite the somewhat European sounding name, every instrument bearing the Rickenbacker name was produced in Rickenbacker's own factory in California, U.S.A.*There are no returns allowed on Rickenbacker basses.

Like the pine trees linin' the windin' road
I've got a name, I've got a name
Like the singin' bird and the croakin' toad
I've got a name, I've got a name
And I carry it with me like my daddy did
But I'm livin' the dream that he kept hid
Movin' me down the highway
Rollin' me down the highway
Movin' ahead so life won't pass me by
Like the north wind whistlin' down the sky
I've got a song, I've got a song
Like the whippoorwill and the baby's cry
I've got a song, I've got a song
And I carry it with me and I sing it loud
If it gets me nowhere, I'll go there proud
Movin' me down the highway
Rollin' me down the highway
Movin' ahead so life won't pass me by
And I'm gonna go there free
Like the fool I am and I'll always be
I've got a dream, I've got a dream

If I could save Time in a bottle
The first thing that I'd like to do
Is to save every day'Til Eternity passes away
Just to spend them with you
If I could make days last forever
If words could make wishes come true
I'd save every day like a treasure and then,
Again, I would spend them with you

Ass Off........
I have a homemade bike me and my brother built many years ago. Runs and drives but the back tire kind of rides sideways. The seat blew out a few years ago and I made do with a sofa cushion, duct tape and a couple of 2x 4's ( the ultimate fix! ). It runs like a champ but does smoke alot especially if you are hard on the gas. Uses about a quart of oil for each gas fillup. I usually just put the oil directly in the gas as it is going to burn it anyway and that way it is easy. Can't drive over 12 miles or so at a time as the motor gets red hot and starts loosing power so probably a good bike for someone who drives locally. Does backfire and squeel pretty loud occasionally so I usually wear earplugs of some kind. DOES NOT pass emmissions so would need to be registered in a county without emmisions check. Great first bike otherwise!

You want to know how it will beMe and her or you and me
You both sit there with your long hair flowing
Your eyes alive,
Your minds are still growing
Saying to me what can we do now that weBoth love you --
I love you too
But I don't really see,
Why can't we go on as three
You are afraid, embarrased too,
No one has ever in your sweet short life child
Said such a thing to you
Your mother's ghost stands at you shoulder
Got a face like ice -- just a little colder
Saying you can not do that it breaks all the rules
You learned in school
But I don't really see,
why can't we go on as "mmm " three
You know we love each other it's plain to see
There's just one answer comes to me
Sister lovers --
Some of you must know about water brothers
And in time maybe others
So you see what we can doIs
to try something new -
that is if you're crazy too
But I don't really see,
Why can't we go on as three

Behringer BX108 Vintage 15W Bass Amp 8In Speaker
Behringer BVT5500H FIREBIRD GX108/THUNDERBIRD BX108: Practice made perfect.Picture this: you and your buddies have a band. You've been gigging around town and are making a name for yourselves. It's time to start doing some serious songwriting and get that first CD done. You grab your guitar and your GX108 and drive over to the bass player's house. He's got the PC up and running and a cookin' drum loop is coming from the soundcard. Using the tape inputs, he hooks up the left soundcard output to your GX108 and the right out to his BX108, and plugs a tape out from each amp into the soundcard inputs. He briefly explains his song idea then sets the PC in record and off you go. After a couple takes, you've got good guide tracks for a new song. You save it, email it to your keyboard player and your singer, and start working on the next tune…That's just one example of the many ways you can effectively use our new practice combos. You can also use them for small, unplugged gigs. Or, if you play keyboards, to give those bass or guitar samples an extra touch of realism for your demos or MIDI productions.Of course, you can also simply practice with them. And don't leave home without one: it's about the best thing you can have along on tour for warming up before the gig or keeping your chops up in the hotel room on a day off. AMP MODELS: Clean Inspired by* the Eden Traveler, this model is all about clean, funk and fusion bass tone. It'll give you all the warm lows and punchy highs you need R&B Inspired by* a 1968 B-15 Flip Top, this model is a tribute to those late 60's and early 70's clean fat bass tones. It is the kind of tone you hear on most Motown recordings, as played by a pioneering young James Jamerson. Rock This model is inspired by* the '74 Ampeg SVT. This workhorse has appeared on innumerable recordings and arena stages worldwide. And now all the tone of the 300-pound behemoth 8X10 and head is available in your combo! Brit Based on a '68 Marshall Super Bass, this model delivers the kind of overdriven bass sound brought to us by late ‘60's British rock pioneers like Cream and The Who. Electronic Chorus. This is the most transparent, smooth and expressive chorus for bass ever built. Using it does not reduce your low end and it's especially beautiful on fretless bass. Electric Bass Guitar
Stainless Steel - exceptionally brilliant tone and anti-corrosive characteristics. They last significantly longer than their nickel counterparts and produce ultimate volume and sustain.
Nickel-Plated Steel - "hot" strings with highly magnetic characteristics produce a traditional bright sound.
Nylon-Taped Wound - a teflon or nylon (usually black) coating is applied to reduce finger noise and make strings smoother and easier to play. String brilliance is subdued making an electric bass sound more like an acoustic bass. Popular for bluegrass or jazz.
Ground-Wound - a round-wound string is ground to flatten the outside surface. They are more flexible than true flat-wound strings and tend to be brighter and richer.
Flat-Wound - a flat wrap is used for a smooth string. This process reduces the brilliance of the sound leaving a more mellow tone and easier fingering.
Then we have the 100% pure silicone rubber strings , That you will find on Fender`s Ashbury Basses. These are very easy on the fingers, And have a great unique
